Burnt Lamp Photos

One of my lamps burst into flame last Friday night. I have no idea why… but I managed to pull it away from the wall socket before it did any damage to anything or anyone… without getting electrocuted.  Now every-time I look at a lamp, I expect it to burst into flame.

It happened late in the day when I was just settling in for the night… good thing I didn’t fall asleep. More photos under the cut.
